Track #1 - Storytelling & Visualization Track

For participants who specialize in building content for environmental issues, and who may use GIS data and/or GIS tools to create their own data. Hands-on exercises may include:

* Review of Creating content in Google Earth, including adding points, lines, polygons

* Review of Adding photos, slideshows, and videos in pop-up balloons

* Creating narrated tour

* Importing GPS data into Google Earth

* Importing GIS data into Google Earth

* Collaborating on your map using Google MyMaps

* Embedding on blog or Sites page: we will put your Earth or Maps map on a website, so you can share it with the world.

* Managing your mapping data with Google Fusion Tables

Track #2 - Programming Track

For participants who specialize in programming and developing customized website applications. Hands-on exercises may include:

* Advanced KML

* JavaScript Programming

* Google Maps API

* Google Earth API

* Google Fusion Tables API

* Answering technical questions

Breakout Sessions: Join a group for more concentrated time on a specific topics, suited to your specific questions. Topics will likely include:
